Presumed first edition dated 1822 and with no statement of printing. 8 and 100 pages. 8 woodcuts (once thought to be by Thomas Bewick). A small label shows this was Lot 236 in the Jupp Sale of 25/2/78. Another small label of Thos Beet Bookseller at 15 Conduit St London. Very clean tight text is slightly waved. Endpapers a little worn. About half the ?original title label survives on spine. Rear cover partly sunned. Spine worn and partly split. . 1st Edition. Hardback. G++/No DW.
