New York: Random House, 1975. First Edition. Signed presentation copy from Samuel Marx inscribed by the author: “To Irving Jackson, In friendship for so many days to remember. Sam Marx, Aug. 21, 1975.” Fine in a very good dust jacket with a few small tears. The best book on Irving Thalberg and Louis B. Mayer’s complex and tempestuous relationship. Marx went to work for MGM in 1930 and knew both men intimately, ultimately he became a noted film producer.
