Sobre este artículo
On the morning of January 30th 1889, Crown prince Rudolph of Austria, only son of Emperor Francis Joseph I, was found dead in his bedroom in a hunting lodge in Mayerling. Beside him, the body of Baroness Mary Vetsera. Thus begins one of the great mysteries of the late 19th century. Was it a double suicide, a murder and suicide, or even a double murder? Judtmann has produced arguably the most detailed and comprehensive book on the infamous case, studying all the theories and data and revealing incredible new material. In the 2000s, long after Judtmann's book first appeared, more information came to light favouring the suicide theories.
Book is in very good condition. Pages are excellent: intact, clean, unmarked and uncreased with remarkably almost no wear. Cloth covers are clean and tight. The dust jacket is unclipped, complete, and generally very good. There is some shelf wear at the top edge, and a little wearing on the spine. Book is now covered in professional removable clear wrapper. 391 pp with B&W photos and drawings, extensive bibliography and index
