N.p.: N.p., 1987. Draft script for unproduced film.

From the estate of film producer Elliott Kastner, whose best known credits include "The Long Goodbye" (Robert Altman, 1973), "The Missouri Breaks" (Arthur Penn, 1976), and "Heat" (Michael Mann, 1996).

Ric Shane runs a popular little video store on Melrose Avenue that just got trashed by a couple of very large thugs with shotguns, and three Ninjas have been seen sneaking around chasing after a mysterious, dark, seedy character. If this weren't enough, Frank Barton, the most feared man in L.A., wants Ric to find his daughter Kelly, Ric's ex, who he's still in love with, and his girlfriend Hillary is having none of it.

Set in Los Angeles, California.
