Printed by Order of the Corporation of New York by W. A. Davis, New York, 1825. First Edition. Hardcover. Fair Condition/No Dust Jacket. Size: 10" x 8 1/4". Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Full gilt-stamped leather over boards, marbled end papers and text block edges, pp. (v), [2], 408, [2], with all listed illustrations plus two additional, unlisted plates: the scarce Baker's Benefit Society Engraving and a plate with three small, separate engravings: one for the Boat Builder's Association, a second with an encircled top hat, and a third titled "Ball Badge Canal Celebratoin The Meeting of the Waters". Covers heavily worn at extremities, tender hinges, both hinges cracked but still attached, scattered instances of staining, some short tears and additional, haphazard folds on some of the fold-out plates and maps.
