Marbled endpapers and pastedowns. Each volume illustrated with an engraved frontispiece. A beautiful set of English history, spanning the rule of James I to Charles the II, with a large section devoted to Oliver Cromwell. Volume four contains various biographies of famous English nobles. Minor rubbing to the front board of volume four.
