In the final section, comparisons are drawn between the Spanish and English courts of the day. This work focuses on the 1715 to 1736 period of the Baron's life from the acceptance of his role as Dutch ambassador to Madrid, to the end of his life in Morocco.Featuring a two page publisher's advertisement to the rear, and a contemporary inscription to the front free endpaper, 'To: Arnoll'.ESTC reference no. T63900 In the original full calf binding. Starting to front joint, with bumping to extremities and spine head and tail. Loss to the leather of the spine, most concentrated to head and tail. Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
