Volume two (1920-1933) inscribed "To my good friend William N.Hart, from Herbert Hoover" on front endpaper. First printing stated on copyright page of volumes two and three. Dust jackets have rubs to corners, a few creases and chips but now in archival protective covers. This is an extremely rare set with Volume two inscribed and signed by President Hoover. Volume 1 is dated 1951 and is a fifth printing, volume 2 is signed and dated 1952 and is a first printing, volumes 3 dated 1952 and is a first printing. Rare set with volume 2 signed by President Hoover! ; Photos; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 405+ pages; Signed by Author .
