(Pasquale Giovanni) Napolitano signature, famous southern California painter (1901-2001). "Literally translated from the Greek of Xenophon by the Rev. J.S. Watson, M.A., M.R.S.L. with an introduction by Edward Brooks, Jr." Small bookseller sticker inside rear board. Corner and edge rubbing as expected in this very scarce piece.
