Black pebble texture boards and spine with gilt lettering on spine and front board. Pictorial endpapers. Previous owner's name was on the top of the front endpaper is now blacked out. No other marks to the book. There are three light black marks on the dust jacket front and a 1/4" tear on spine. This is a Memorandum to the King of Spain, Philip IV written by Fray Alonso de Benavides, first religious superior of the missions in New Mexico is for us of this twentieth century a tour of the Pueblos and the lands of other indigenous peoples of the Land of Enchantment.
