Acetate dust jacket. Original publisher's board slipcase. Number 4 of 15 copies reserved for the author (of 265), signed by Ethel Barrymore, With a presentation inscription from Barrymore to director George Cukor on the half title page: "To dear George - with love from Ethel." Cukor directed Barrymore on stage in Maugham's "The Constant Wife", in 1926. His 1930 film titled "The Royal Family of Broadway," was a veiled account of this famous family. From the library of noted "Gone With The Wind" Hollywood director George Cukor with his Paul Landacre bookplate on the front pastedown.. Inscribed by Author(s). 1st Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Fine.
