This is a beautiful most desirable copy in like dust jacket published by Books of Wonder in 1991. It is a FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING of this edition. The Reilly & Lee edition of Merry Go Round in Oz was published in 1963 and constitutes the last (the 40th book) Oz book in the classical Oz canon of wizardology. What makes this excellent Oz book (and it is an excellent story, on par---or in some cases much better, with any of the previous 39 Oz books---) is that the original illustator, Dick Martin, produced a new wraparound jacket design (copyright in 1989) just for this particular edition. Martin's interior illustrations for the 1991 book are the same as in the 1963 edition.The fact that he had a direct hand in the production of this printing, is unique among the Oz books for an illustrator of a previous first edition Oz book.
