Sobre este artículo
London: Chatto & Windus, 1963. Cloth. Very Good. FIRST EDITION. 8vo, pp. 253, [1]. Original turquoise cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Spine ends bruised, scant spotting to top edge. Else, clean and tidy. In Rosemary Grimble's illustrated dust jacket: price-clipped, spine gently sunned, rear panel shelf-soiled, wear and chipping, heaviest at spine ends, small loss and creasing to bottom edge of front panel. Still, a nice copy of Huxley's stand alone, satirical "novel of suspense", set in the fictional Protectorate of Hapana ("a cross between Kenya and [what was] Northern Rhodesia") during independence negotiations. Very good/ very good
