Shows counties, railways, cities, towns, rivers, and other topographical features throughout the middle Atlantic states. Map is in good condition with expert repair to centerfold. Scattered foxing throughout. Some staining on left margin, not affecting printed image. Jesse Olney (1798-1872) was an American geographer, teacher and author of school textbooks. He promoted practical geography over theoretical techniques. His geography atlases supported his theories and eventually changed how geography was taught.<br/> <br/>
