Engraved vignette to title page and numerous engravings throughout. Bevelled royal blue cloth with gilt titles and decoration to spine and armorial motifs in gilt to upper and in blind to lower board. Top edge stained blue; floral endpapers. Spine a little toned; edges rubbed with minor wear at corners and spine tips. Scattered foxing, mainly to textblock edge. Overall a Very Good copy. Comprehensive history of the Company from its origins in the 1830s.
