Published by William Heinemann, 1908. 1st edition.. Hardback. Good. Illustrated by Rackham, Arthur. Almost very good condition with no wrapper. Light brown cloth, gilt titles and vignette to front cover. 40 exquisite colour plates mounted on cream paper. Large format. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Light damp stain to lower spine edge of front cover. A few small marks to covers. All plates present, one has a small tear at lower edge but all others are in fine condition. Tissue-guard of torn plate and facing text page also have tears (larger). Foxing to contents. Contents are a little loose but binding is still tight.
