Title page printed in green and black. Former owner's initials and address on blank leaf following front free endpaper. List of 9 other titles by the author on half title verso. First Edition (same date on title page and title page verso). This is one of several novels in which American writer Ellen Glasgow (1873-1945) examined gender roles and the new South. In Very Good Condition: corners rubbed; tail of spine just starting to fray; slightly cocked; clean and tight.
