Sobre este artículo
This is a very nice first printing of the first English edition of Margaret Drabble's third novel [Weidenfeld & Nicolson London (1965)], signed and dated by the author directly on the title page. The book is in very good condition with a previous owner's name on the front free end paper and one tape stain on the front pastedown. The book has no remainder marks, a tight and square binding, with no highlighting or other marking. The dust jacket is in very good condition, not price-clipped (18s), but with some chips, tape stains, small closed tears and shelf wear. Nevertheless, a very scarce book signed and quite collectible. It is now protected by an archival cover which is easily removable, with no tape or adhesive used. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
Sinopsis
Margaret Drabble’s affecting novel, set in London during the 1960s, about a casual love affair, an unplanned pregnancy, and one young woman’s decision to become a mother.
