Sobre este artículo

New York: Bantam Books, 1981. Mass Market Paperback. Good Plus to Very Good. Paperback Original -- Bantam 202707: As L'Amour says in an author's note, Milo Talon's mother was a Sackett, so this novel can be considered one of the Sackett series, though L'Amour preferred to see it as the first of a new series on the Talon family. Milo Talon, a drifter, a gunfighter, with a reputation for finishing what he starts, is hired by a wealthy man to find the man's grandaughter, missing in the west for over 12 years. Obstacles in the way of Talon's search include time, greed, gold and murder. Paperback Original, true first edition, first printing (with complete numberline starting with zero). Mass market paperback, abourt 4 1/4 x 7 inches, 212 pages with 2 pages of publisher's ads and author bio. Pictorial front wrapper art by Louis S. Glanzman shows solitary man on horseback holding rifle across saddle. Back cover has small photo of L'Amour. Text block edges dyed yellow. Wrappers show reading crease, minimal surface and edge wear. No tears, no chipping, no bumped corners. Text has slight spine lean, some light soiling on edges and light age-tanning on inside covers and in margins. O/w complete, clean, unmarked. Not pristine condition but still a collectable copy of a novel becoming increasingly scarce.
