Introduction by K. M. Burton, chronology of Milton's life and index. Illustrated end pages, being a gold coloured (multi-reproduced) of the series initials. Blue coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip and orange coloured tint to the top text edge. Illustrated dustwrapper with black coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Selections from John Milton's prose works, including On Religious Liberty, On Civil Liberty, On Domestic Liberty and Autobiographical Extracts. Softening of the back strip edges with rubbing of the book corners. Light age toning of the text block edges and pages. Blue coloured stain to the lower text edge. Previous owners details to the top edge of the half title page. The half title page and the penultimate page show offset tanning. Creasing of the top dustwrapper edge with a little chipping of the lower back strip edge, which has also bled down by about 2 inches to the top right hand corner of the back strip. There has been a blue coloured stain to the top back strip edge and sunning to the back strip. Rubbing of the book edges and panels. Revised. Size: 12mo (Small Hardcover). We seem to specialize in non mainstream stuff but read and stock Science-fiction, fantasy, detective fiction, history, biography and true crime, war, natural history. cooking, children's books and try to avoid current text books.We probably have the largest collection of Science Fiction, Penguins and general crime in Victoria in an open shop ( David has 8 bookcases 900mm x 2200mm of sf and f) ( Penny has 8 bookcases 1200mm x 2400 of sf and f )On shelf each shop has 30,000 plus books and we list over 30000 books online
