Hardcover with dust jacket, 338 pages, plus archival black-and-white photographs; light shelf wear to cover edges, particularly spine top, bottom edge scuffed, endpapers lightly foxed (but not text pages, different type of paper), beautifully written inscription on free front endpaper "To Dear Edward, Xmas 1918.", beneath which, glued to the endpaper, is presumably that owner's bookplate consisting of a black-and-white image of a large two-storey house with the caption "Edward Breithaupt Naumann", interior otherwise very clean and unmarked; DJ exterior is age darkened, heavily chipped and torn, but intact and about 98% complete.. First Canadian Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Fair.
