Sobre este artículo
London: Arthur L. Humphreys, 1909. 1st Thus. Very Good+. First edition thus of this english translation from Arthur L. Humphreys printer. Mirabeau's love-letters is a fascinating and tragically romatic series of letters the 18th century lothario wrote to his lover, Sophia, while imprisoned in France and awaiting execution. Filled with love, longing, eroticism, and regret, these letters are a meaningful expression of passion. Bound in full rust morocco with gilded framing, five etched hinge leaves coming from five raised bands on the spine, six gilded cells on spine with floral stamps, title, and city of publication at bottom. Hinge worn and some scuffing on spine. Top fore edge gilded, remaining edges rough cut. Former owner signature inside front cover. Interior is very clean and clear.

Sobre John and Tabitha's Kerriosity Bookshop
I love books. Always an eager reader, I started collecting Antiquarian books while a teenager and studying history. Flash forward a couple of decades and I am excited to open a new all-digital bookstore to continue my love of books, while bringing desired books to readers, collectors, and other sellers. From Post-Incunables to modern First Editions, I will be regularly adding new stock.
