Jacket extremities a bit worn with shallow chips and short closed tears; verso dampstained with bleeding to bottom edge of front flap and rear panel and flap; cloth slightly bubbled from damp; nevertheless, a Very Good, presentable copy. "Missionary Adventures in the Wilds of Africa" - upper jacket panel. "The mind of the African is simple and childlike...Consequently, the Gospel and Light are all that is needed to correct it" - p. 9. Includes the author's memoirs as a missionary in Angola.
