Indianapolis: Bobbs-Merrill, 1963. First Edition. Hard Cover. Used; Good/Fair. Many tears and some creases and stains to DJ; waterstain to edges and rear endpaper has not affected rest of book. Arthur Miller ("Death of a Salesman", etc.) wrote the story and then his first Hollywood screenplay as a vehicle for his wife, Marilyn Monroe. She starred with Clark Gable in what would be the last picture for each. John Huston directed "The Misfits" and the reactions ranged from "masterpiece" to "incomprehensible rubbish". In any case, the making of this film broke the mold and Hollywood changed in many ways as a result.
