Illustrated endpapers. 166 pp. Illustrated with plates in color and black and white. Very good, scattered foxing to the text and a bit of rounding to the extremities. Small ownership name top edge of the title page. Yoshio Markino was a Japanese author and artist who spent most of his career in London. Among his literary output were several autobiographical accounts; this book, originally published in England under the title "My Idealed John Bullesses" are his humorous observatioons on Ehglish women living in Japan.
