Sobre este artículo
Hollywood, California: Metro Goldwyn Mayer, 1930. Gelatin silver print. Image is 12 1/8 inches by 9 1/4 inches on a 13" X 10" sheet. With Hurrell's blindstamp in the lower right margin and his Hurrell/MGM credit stamp on the verso. George E. Hurrell (1904-1992) became MGM's chief portrait photographer on January 1, 1930, and although he left the studio 16 months later, he continued to do freelance photography for all the major studios (including MGM) until he became chief photographer for Warner Brothers in 1940. He was noted as the most succesful "glamour" photographer in Hollywood, and that particular skill is especially noticeable in this portrait of silent screen actress Dorothy Jordan 1906-1988). The photograph is in superb condition: clean, crisp, and bright.. Original. Single Sheet. Fine. Illus. by George Hurrell. 12 1/8 inches by 9 1/4 Inches. Photo.
