Sobre este artículo

Garden City: Doubleday & Co, 1954. First edition. Signed by Clement on the title page, under which he has also signed his real name, Harry Stubbs, in parentheses. Clement is one of the premier practioners of hard science fiction. His best novels concern the lives of aliens in their own environment. Here the aliens help the humans to retrieve a probe on their planet where the gravity ranges from 3g to 700g. Mission of Gravity is Clement's magnum opus and has become increasingly difficult to find in collector's condition. A fine copy in boards with some faint spotting to edges, with a very good dust wrapper showing some wear to edges and paper creasing, with a dampstain to the hinges of the jacket flaps. (Barron 3-50; Pringle 15).
