Sobre este artículo
Boston: Little, Brown, and Company. Near Fine in Near Fine dust jacket. 1909. First US Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. A near fine first printing of the first US edition in an equally lovely dust-jacket. The dust-jacket has a few small chips and some wear to edges. The book cover is brightly illustrated with gilt lettering and accents ad the interior is clean and tight. ; The Missioner tells the story of a young woman, Addie, who leaves her home in the Midwest to become a missionary in Africa. Along the way, she must confront the challenges of living in a new and unfamiliar country, and of ministering to a population that is often hostile and unyielding. Addie's faith is tested, but she never wavers in her commitment to God, and ultimately she is able to bring about change in the lives of the people she's been called to serve.; 8vo; 312 pages .
