HC/DJ Early reprinting after the Stokes 1935 edition, but prior to the war. Soundly bound in original color pictorial dust jacket. Thatch pattern blue cloth title lettered in brown. Cloth color blanched in the joints. Usual and expected toning to the endpage gutters nearly ubiquitous in books printed in the 1930's. Some moderate silverfish pitting to page block front edge; prior owner short penned note to front endpage, presumably referring to date and location of purchase. Pictorial dust jacket nuicked with shallow chipping at spine ends; rubbed with a handful of short closed tears at edges. Mild shelf soiling and toning to jacket spine. VG-/G++ .
