Jacket with minor edge wear and several short edge tears, 2/ price label affixed to spine. Humorous colour illustration to front panel of jacket. No date-c1916. A fictionalised account by a Highlander from the Regulars based on and paying tribute to the war efforts of Lowlanders from the Territorial Scots Fusiliers. The author also wrote Private Spud Tamson; The Kangaroo Marines and The Making of Micky McGhee. Extremely scarce in jacket.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Near Very Good. 8vo.
