SHIPPING COSTS: Shipping rates are based on an average book weight of 2 pounds, which is sufficient for most books. However, larger or heavier books or multi-volume sets may require additional postage. We will contact you by e-mail if additional postage is required. SALES TAX We are required by law to charge 7.75% sales tax on all orders shipped within the state of California (excluding those shipped to other book dealers with valid resale numbers). REFUNDS Full refunds (including shipping costs) will be extended for books that arrive damaged or that were incorrectly listed online. Customers who change their minds about a book may return it--in the condition it left our store--for a refund of the book price, but we will not be responsible for shipping costs in these cases. Refunds will be made by crediting the credit card used to place the order, or by check if the original order was paid with check, money order, or cash.
