Sobre este artículo
315 pages with diagrams. Octavo (8 1/2" x 5 3/4") bound in original publisher's orange cloth with gilt lettering to spine in original pictorial jacket. Chess for Modern Times Series. (Lusis: 851) First published in 1967.
Indian Systems, based upon Pachman's original German work, contains an in depth analysis of those defenses for 1. P-Q4 which are the most popular among the master at that time. By his unique method of choosing a model game with numerous sub-variations, the Czech grand master has covered the main lines of the Nimzo-Indian, the Queen's Indian, the King's Indian, the Gruenfeld and the Benoni in a way which is both exhaustive and authoritative. The group of expert analysts were employed to supplement the original with the latest wrinkles of modern theory of the time.
Condition: Corners bumped, light edge wear, pages age darkened. Jacket with edge wear, spine ends rubbed and lightly chipped with closed tears else a very good copy in like jacket.
