Sobre este artículo
Chicago: Open Court Publishing Company, 1916. First English language edition. Hardcover. Very Good. 12mo, 92, [4] pages, green cloth
The American issue of the British sheets. Giran has re-imagined Job as a current-day resident of Holland, whereat he is beset upon by the same life drama as the biblical Job. "The book is alive, and the ideas propounded seem actually to have become incarnate in Eliphaz, Bildad and Zophar. ... The reader is irresistibly attracted by the strong and noble eloquence of a thinker whose simple style and intense loyalty to truth should provea rare stimulus to lofty endeavor and devoted purpose in these troublous times."

Sobre Thomas J. Joyce And Company
Joyce And Company has been in business as a professional rare bookseller and appraiser since 1975. Owner Thomas Joyce was the regular book appraiser on Home & Garden TV\'s \"The Appraisal Fair\\\" program, on international broadcasts. Thomas Joyce was the co-discoverer of George Washington's personal copy of William Leybourn's 1679 edition of THE COMPLEAT SURVEYOR, from which young Washington learned some of his surveying skills at age 16. The book had vanished for nearly a century until its re-discovery in 2017. It is now back at Mt. Vernon.
