No date - circa 1900, very good + blue cloth hardcover with gilt letter and decoration to spine, top page edges gilt, and rough cut pages (many uncut) shows just the lightest bit of wear. 396 pages with nine illustrations including frontispiece. Remains an attractive copy of this 12th volume in the set of Waverley novels that is "one of Scott's "Tales from Benedictine Sources" and is set in the time of Mary, Queen of Scots, and the Elizabethen period" (Wikipedia).
