Tipped-in color frontispiece of Donal O'Brien and his 47 pound hen salmon caught in June 1982. The salmon of this story, however, was caught and released in 2004 and was estimated to exceed 50 pounds. With a salmon fly, a size 6 Green Stone Fly, an exact replica of the pattern used to catch the huge 50 pound fish; dressed by Grand Cascapedia River guide Stan Harrison, who was the guide and fly dresser of the pattern used by Donal O'Brien when he caught his monster salmon. The paper sheets for this special edition is handmade Czechoslovakian paper - Velke Losiny - Prague. The presentation drop-back box was crafted by master binder Gray Parrot. The fly is mounted within a presentation box that is part of the drop-back box. The book is bound in brown wrappers with green overwrap and titled 'A Monster Salmon.' The book and the fly kept within a drop-back box bound in blue morocco spine and blue cloth with gilt titles. All in fine, beautiful condition..
