Sobre este artículo
A very well-preserved, later edition of O'Reilly's novel based on his own experiences and those of another convicted Irish transport to Australia, Moondyne Joe. Bindings are mildly scuffed and soiled and pages slightly yellowed. Minor bumps to head and foot of spine. Hinge is intact, though slightly loose. There is a paper pastedown with the number 44 on the front end paper. See photos for condition.
O'Reilly was, "an Irish-American poet, journalist, author and activist. As a youth in Ireland, he was a member of the Irish Republican Brotherhood, or Fenians, for which he was transported to Western Australia. After escaping to the United States, he became a prominent spokesperson for the Irish community and culture, through his editorship of the Boston newspaper The Pilot, his prolific writing, and his lecture tours." - Wikipedia.
