A touch of rubbing to head and tail of spine and corners, slightest darkening to spine, early 20th century armorial bookplate on front pastedown (Louis H. Roddis), neat pencil signature on second blank endpaper. A near Fine clean tight bright copy. The UK edition was first published in May 1897 but dated 1898. Newbolt 80.1.
