The author covers moose-calling in Nova Scotia; salmon and trout fishing on the Medway; Shooting geese, catching the albacore, moose-hunting with dogs; concluding with a chapter describing a Gulf of Para voyage, including a hurricane adventure, the capture of a man-eater shark and dolphin, and the killing of a fish known as 'the devil-fish'..
