Boston: William V. Spencer, 1855. vi, [7]-33, [3]pp. 7½ x 4 inches. Illustrated front wrap; gathered and stitched. Lacks rear wrap, rubbed, worn; large paper losses at upper corner of final two leaves, but only affecting six total lines of text; else Fair.
Playscript for a farce first produced at the Adelphi Theatre, London in 1825. Also known as More Blunders Than One, Or, the Irish Valet, the play was published as the tenth title in the series, "Spencer's Boston Theatre," co-published by William V. Spencer and Samuel French of New York, this being the Boston issue. With the cast of characters (and the actors who played them in various American productions from 1840 to 1855 in Philadelphia, New York, Providence and Boston), a list of properties needed in each of the play's five scenes, and a 1½-page memoir of Boston actor, Peter C. Cunningham, who played the role of "Larry" in New York, Providence, and Boston.
