Book is cocked, extremities are scuffed, library stamp (Paramount Circulating Library) front pastedown - bottom edge-ffep-p.7, p.7 notwithstanding text block is clean and tight. Unclipped ($2.50) DJ is two-layered with significant missing material of the face layer, and is attached to book, flaps to pastedowns. Book is from the collection of Toronto author/poet and perennial host at Harbourfront literary events, Greg Gatenby. The date of his acquisition of the book and his signature are found top corner ffep. Morley Callaghan's 'uphill ' signature is on the half-title page. A rather unusual book!
