Fabulous photos, interesting story. Book FINE/ Dust jacket Near Fine. Sewn binding. Boards are light tan cloth, spine and part boards are burgundy cloth, gilt lettering, with Malcolm Forbes’ signature in gilt embossed on front cover. Dust jacket is price clipped, full size colour photo on front, and different colour photo on back. Dust jacket has some age darkening at flap folds, also some creases there; otherwise no major creases, has one tiny chip on DJ spine and a small chip at front flap fixed by clear tape; has minor edge wear along top of DJ with a 3/4 inch tear on back; some rubbing of the gloss on the DJ by adjacent book on shelf can be seen if DJ is tilted in light. Boards and spine are clean, flat, corners straight, crisp, minor shelf wear to bottom of boards, very small smudge on rear board. End pages are colour photo spread (same photo) of Forbes family. Inside ffep and at title page is book store stamp, in ink. Inside of book is clean, tight, bright. Lots of fabulous historic colour and black/white photos. Colour photos on coated stock. Great photos of Elizabeth Taylor, as well as Mr. Forbes, the family, the yachts, travel, homes, etc. Contents include Messing About In Boats, The Highwayman (motorcycles), Above and Beyond (balloons), No Place Like Home, etc.

I'm very careful in describing my books accurately and I've done so to the best of my ability using the IOBA Book Condition guidelines. All items are from a smoke-free, clean, dry environment. My books are from a large private collection, very well taken care of and rarely handled. All descriptions and photos are of the actual books I'm selling. I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.
This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
