An extensive collection of nursery rhymes attributed to Mother Goose, preceded by a history and lineage of the Goose/Vergoose family. The last part of the book contains music that would accompany many of the rhymes, followed by historical notes on many of the pieces. GOOD condition. General fading, minor soiling and scuffing to the covers. Cloth frayed and worn at the corners with heavy pulling, fraying and splitting at the head and tail of the spine. Minor scattered soiling in the interior, with minor toning.
