Sobre este artículo
New York: Brentano's, 1928. Cloth. Very Good/Near Fine. The 1928 1st edition of this moving collection of letters written by women --often in desperation-- to Margaret Sanger (1879-1966), perhaps the nation's most prominent birth control activist of the early 20th century. Solid and VG (a degree of light soiling to the panels, a small number of signatures uncut) in a surprisingly bright and crisp, price-intact, VG+ to Near Fine example of the wonderful dustjacket. Octavo, chapter headings include "The Pinch of Poverty", "The Trap of Maternity", "The Struggle of the Unfit", "Double Slavery", "The Voices of the Children", etc. Not unlike Nathaniel West's 1933 "Miss Lonelyhearts" in its sheer pathos.
