Sinopsis
Motherless Brooklyn is a Jonathan Lethem novel published in 1999. It is a detective story set in Brooklyn. The novel won the 1999 National Book Critics Circle Award for fiction and the 2000 Gold Dagger award for crime fiction. Lethem's protagonist has Tourette syndrome, a disorder marked by involuntary tics. In 2005 it was announced that Edward Norton would direct, adapt, and star in a film adaptation, set in the 1950s. The movie will be released in 2010.
