Sobre este artículo

Philadelphia: Ware Bros. Company Publishers, 1931. Pamphlet. Three items together. The 1931 item is textual only; it runs 131 pages. Main supplement: 48p., no illustrations, not even diagrams; the math, geometry and procedures are strictly in a running text. The "supplement to the supplement" supplies the stand-alone formulae and the diagrams. Presswork on all three booklets is identically laid out, and printed on similar stock: semi-gloss alkaline stuff for first item, high-gloss alkaline stock the other two, and are roughly the same size, 9.5x6.5 and 10x7 inches; the two substantial parts are enclosed in plain printed grey wraps, the other (10p. displaying ten fullpage numbered plates) is a self-wraps item, no separate wrapper. Near-fine copies, allowing for a printer's smudge to cover of first item, and a mere touch of edgewear, and faint ownerships with contact info, to titlepages. Two plates (only) in the supplement-to-the-supplement, plates 2 and 9, confirm our perception that all the math and geometry is applicable to automotive construction; #2 shows a radiator grille, and #9 the side windows and squareback rear end of an early 1930s passenger car.
