Publisher's brown cloth dec in blind, gilt lettering on faded spine, mild soiling and rubbing, light bumping and chipping, upper end of spine with large chip missing (only slightly affecting lettering). Cracked hinges with webbing showing, front hinge with amateur glue repair. Small ink mark and eraser smudges on front pastedown. Shaken binding (some signatures stand proud of other page edges) and clean text. Some pages roughly opened with resulting tears. No ownership marks, ex-lib marks, stamps or stickers. ; 9 hand-colored engravings; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 504+24 pages .
