Sobre este artículo
From the front Dust Jacket Flap: "...best book on the contemporary adaptation of the old craft of quilting." It is a basic instructional book with Coty-Award-winning designs created by Dorothy Weatherford for the Mountain Artisans. It also tells the story of the Mountain Artisans and how the West Virginia cooperative was started by a group of idealistic young women.
The how-to sections feature photographic step-by-step instructions for traditional patchwork, stitching, applique, hemming, binding, tufting, basting, tracing, design placement, bordering, quilting, and the making of toys, pillows, etc. THERE ARE NO FULL SIZE PATTERNS.
Book condition: Very Good-, Blue cloth cover, black spine with gold gilt lettering. Top and bottom of spine show some wear. Blue cloth boards have very slight wear but corners are bent in slightly. Pages are clean and tight.
Dust Jacket condition: Good. Color is good, there is some rubbing, many creases, small tears, and chips (some tears and chips have been taped).
Please use photos as part of the description.
179 pages including Index. This is a heavy book and may require a small amount of additional postage.
