Minor bumping to spine ends and corners, a previous owner's name inside front board, otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. The story deals with the rise to riches and power of a farm labourer's son who becomes as crooked and corrupt as all the other businessmen. Originally published in 1930, this is a slightly later reprint from January 1935. 312pp.. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
