UK, [2002]. [Film promotion] Advance-style British quad crown poster for the 2002 M.G.M. film starring Pierce Brosnan as Ian Fleming's James Bond. Photography by Patrick Demarchelier. Approximate dimensions 30 x 40 inches. Rolled. Fine condition, with a little edgewear and minor rubs (Poster Grade 'A'). Clean to reverse side (magnets used in display image, not pinned). A most attractive example. Note on Format; the 'quad' is a landscape view UK movie poster measuring approx. 30 x 40 inches, generally issued folded (prior to 1980s) with one vertical and three horizontal creases. This is the standard (and most collectible) format for film posters in Britain, being the equivalent of the US 'one-sheet'. Nourmand, Tony, p.116-7, Glassner/Dougall p.176-7.
