New York: Scribner's Sons, 1937. First Edition . Cloth with Dustjacket. REVIEW COPY WITH SLIP LAID IN. Early critical study of American movies up to the mid 1930's. Illustrated with a nice color Disney illustration on the frontis which is also on the wrap a round dustjacket, illustrated green tinted photo endsheets and 133 nice b&w stills and candids. The dustjacket has chipping and small pieces missing mainly to the spine panel and the front flap is missing, there is also a small stain to the bottom of the back panel, and a tiny chip to the top of the spine. The insides are fine.
